Element Magazine - Article Designs
These are article designs I had made for a class group project. This involves me making my own style guide to present to the class. The style guide outlines the colour schemes, fonts and other design elements.

Then the class collaborates in making the magazine and students get to experience and learn about setting up a schedule, create teams with specific responsibilities, where each class member has a role in the planning, production and printing of the magazine.

Industry Discussion
Students were to conduct background research on their selected practitioner, prepare 10-20 appropriate questions, and conduct an interview either face to face or via email, Zoom etc.

Students also had to synthesise the results of their research and the interview into a magazine-style article that also highlights how the creative practitioner they selected is relevant to their own career goals. The finished interview will be presented as a magazine layout complete with images and captions.

I was fortunate enough to have one of my favourite artists, Alyssa Mees for the interview. I didn't get to interview her face to face or virtually. We communicated through email because it was more convenient for both of us due to the time differences. She is a kind and amazing person.
